Prepare your rider profile & setup(s)

A) Define your Rider Profile

  1. On the start page you can update your name and define your rider profile.

  2. Enter your rider details (weight and height). Use the toggle for metric or imperial units.

B) Create a Rider Setup

  1. On the start page click Create rider setup.

  2. Create at least one setup you’ll use for analysis. We recommend creating one for all your different bikes (e.g. TT, road)

  3. Save it with a clear name (e.g., “TT race setup”).

Create a custom course (Optional)

Tip: Keep course names consistent with your events (e.g., “IM 70.3 [City] – 2025”).

Run your first optimization

You can start either a Pacing Strategy or an Equipment Comparison. The platform will guide you through each required step.

Option A: Pacing Strategy (using a single setup)

  1. Create Pacing Optimization.

  2. Choose a course (built-in or your custom one).

  3. Wind: Fetch an automatic forecast or enter it manually.

  4. Select exactly one rider setup.

  5. (Optional, highly recommended) Group course segments (see below).

  6. Run the optimization and review the pacing plan.

  7. The result is automatically saved so you can revisit it later.

About segment grouping

Option B: Equipment Comparison (using multiple rider setups or one rider setup with different wheel options)

  1. Create Equipment Optimization.

  2. Choose a course.

  3. Wind: Automatic forecast or manual entry.

  4. Select multiple rider setups or one rider setups and define multiple wheel/tyre options you want to compare.

  5. Run the optimization and review time differences and segment impacts.

  6. The result is automatically saved for later reference.

Tip: Start with a built-in course to learn the flow. Once comfortable, upload your race course.
