Use this page when you’ve finished a Pacing Optimization and you’re on the Pacing optimization results screen.
Input details shows the course, rider setup, and the optimization model (e.g., Normalized Power™).
Show versions / Version name lets you save multiple “what-ifs” for the same case and switch between them. Rename the Version name to keep track (e.g., “Race-day wind”, “Aggressive pacing”).
Card: Overview – key metrics
Compares a Constant power strategy with the Optimized strategy you just ran.
Typical rows:
Pedalling Power [W]: “variable” under Optimized confirms the solver varied power by segment/group.
Average Power [W] and Normalized Power™ [W]: confirms you hit your target model (for Core and Pro plans, Normalized Power™ is the only available optimization option).
Total Duration: your headline time. The smaller the value under Optimized, the faster the result.
Important: The displayed time is an estimation and has some uncertainty. Focus on the time delta and not the absolute time.
Tip: If a section of the course was set to Manual power during setup, the optimizer respects it; only the remaining sections are optimized.
Card: Sensitivities – Time savings per parameter
Shows how much total time changes if you nudge one parameter:
Power +1 W, Weight −0.5 kg / -1 lbs, CdA −0.001 m², Crr −0.0001, etc.
Use this to understand whether training (more power) or equipment/fit (CdA/Crr) would yield the best return for this course.
Section: Optimized Pacing Strategy
Tabs: Segments | Groups.
Segments lists every course segment.
Groups shows your grouped strategy (easier to execute on race day). If you grouped segments during setup, each group has one target.
Metric chips above the table: Power | Focus | Duration / Speed switch what the bars visualize.
Columns:
Group/Segment (left): colour corresponds to the coloured bands in the course profile.
Pedalling Power and Average Power: the recommended targets (optimized rows are marked with an asterisk in the Legend).
Export menu (top-right of this section) lets you download/sharing assets for this view.
Reading tips
Groups tab = quickest summary to brief an athlete. You’ll see one Pedalling Power target per group (e.g., “Flat with headwind”, “Climb”).
If you used Manual power on any segment or group in setup, expect flat (unchanged) targets there and all changes concentrated in the optimized rows.
Section: Optimized Pacing Strategy (Graph View)
Toggle buttons: Profile | Power | Speed change what the chart displays along the course.
The View map switch shows/hides the map under the chart; segment/group colours match the table.
Use this view to sanity-check that higher powers appear on climbs/headwinds and lower powers on descents/tailwinds.
Bottom action: Optimize equipment ▾ → Rider Setups or Wheel Setups
Launches an Equipment Optimization pre-filled with this pacing variant. This keeps pacing constant while you compare wheels/rider setups.
